Heidi Watney at a Recent Red Sox vs. Yankees Game

Oh, the Red Sox and Yankees. Seriously, if I have to tune into ESPN and hear them hype this series to within an inch of its life one more time, I’m going to shoot myself in the head. But I digress. The good part about the rivalry series? NESN reporter Heidi Watney was there doing her thing for the New England Sports Network. No thanks to ESPN. Ahem.

Baltimore Sports Reporter Kristen Berset

Let’s face it, when you start your media career as a beauty pageant contestant, earning the title of “hottest sports anchor” in your hometown is pretty easy to do. Which may be why Kristen Berset moved from Florida to Baltimore, where she’s currently the local sports gal for WBFF in Baltimore, MD. Haven’t seen all the sports gal in Baltimore yet, but I’m just about ready to hand the crown over to Kristen.

Kent State and FoxSport’s Lyndsay Petruny

According to Justin B., who emailed me Lyndsay Petruny’s name, “She was LITERALLY the talk of the school whenever football/basketball games were being covered though because every guy was like, oh what I would do to get with her… She just has a certain mystique about her that we guys couldn’t get enough of.” Hmm, mystique, eh? Let’s see for ourselves, shall we?

Portland Trailblazers Sideline Reporter Rebecca Haarlow

Apparently Portland Trailblazers sideline reporter Rebecca Haarlow makes quite the impression, because I got a couple of emails pointing me in her direction. So was all the hype worth it? I have to say, hell yeah. A very hot girl with a bubbly personality. What else do you need in your basketball team’s sideline reporter? How about an Ivy League education? Yup. Rebecca’s a graduate of Princeton University. Holy crap. Brains, beauty, and sports appreciation? I think I’m in love.

NESN’s Kathryn Tappen

Apparently Boston is trying to corner the market on hot female sports reporters. First Heidi Watney, then Hazel Mae, and now Kathryn Tappen. You’re usually pretty lucky if you get one pretty gal delivered with your daily dose of sports, but three? The New England Sports Network must be doing something right. Here’s Kathryn Tappen.

Identify This Sideline Hottie

Reader CW sent me this picture of a sideline reporter he took with a Nikon at a (I think) baseball game, but he has no idea who she is. Anyone have a clue? Help our man CW out. I’ve sent CW an email for more info — i.e. where he took it, etc, to narrow the clues. For now, take a look at the pics. What a nice smile. P.S. It appears she’s an FSN reporter by the mic logo.

NBCSports.com’s Tiffany Simons

NBCSports.com's Tiffany Simons

Blonde sports bloggers who actually turn out to be blonde sports bloggers in real life is a rare thing. Usually it turns out to be some fat guy in his mom’s basement pretending to be blonde and hot. NBCsports.com’s Tiffany Simons doesn’t have that problem. Check her out.

NASCAR Now’s Nicole Manske

For those who enjoys their daily dose of speed-related sports, Nicole Manske is a major reason they’re willing to veg out in front of the tube for hours at a time. Who is Nicole Manske? She’s the blonde (but sometimes brunette) former host of Speed Channel’s The Speed Report and the current host of ESPN’s NASCAR Now. And get this — she’s a former Miss Teen USA contestant and was on the same cheerleading squad as Indy racing darling Danica Patrick. I kid you not.

NFL Network’s Michelle Beisner

And here I thought the hottest chick on NFL Network was Rich Eisen. How wrong I was! (Okay, just kidding about that first part, stop accusing me of being gay! Ahem. Where was I?) One face on NFL Network that keeps me tuning in is Michelle Beisner, who provides a nice respite from the sports net’s many programmings filled with annoying ex-player mush-mouthing their way through football highlights.
