I first saw Amanda Leatherman doing hosting duties for the PokerStars.net’s “The Big Game” late one night. Obviously being something of a poker fan, and an bigger fan of very attractive female reporters, I stuck around. She’s a tad short on the height (around 5-foot), but more than makes up for it with a spunky personality.

There’s not a whole lot to do without football, but for those of you bored out of your mind, there is football to watch. Well, soccer to us Yanks. It’s going on in South Africa now, and apparently one of the hotter sideline reporters there is Spanish dish Sara Carbonero, who works for Telecinco.

Honestly, I don’t know if Erin Andrews has been kicked off “Dancing with the Stars” or if she’s still in the running, because I just don’t, uh, how should I put this? Oh right — give a shit about “Dancing with the Stars”. But I do give a lot of shit about Erin Andrews, and when she shows up on TV looking all leggy and whatnot, it deserves a post.

I have enough of a hard time keeping track of all the network TV sideline hotties, so I tend to miss a lot of their online counterparts, such as the gorgeous Angela Sun, who hosts Yahoo!’s Sports Minute show. Fortunately there are readers like Waterdrinker to clue me in.

So what has the very gorgeous Melissa Stark been doing since her time working the sidelines of Monday Night Football? I haven’t a clue, though apparently she’s done a gig on MSNBC for a while. Here’s Wikipedia to fill in her career paths since Monday Night Football after 2003.

Reader BigU sent over this pic of Dana Jacobson. He says she’s slimmed down a bit thanks to her training for a recent 5K. Didn’t hear about that, but then again, I never thought Dana needed to slim down. She’s perfectly proportioned IMO.

What is it about pretty blondes named Erin doing sports? Here’s another one: Erin Nicole, who works the hardwoods of Detroit’s Pistons basketball games and apparently also provides traffic reports to commuters. Just looking at her, it’s probably not a surprise that she’s also an ex-model and actress.

ABC has announced the latest round of celebrity contestants for their Godawful “Dancing with the Stars” TV show, and our very own Erin Andrews is among them. I haven’t been able to sit through a whole episode of the show yet, mostly because watching people learn to dance is retarded, but I may tune in once or twice to catch some Erin Andrews action. At the very least, there will be new, glossy pictures of her from the show to post.

You may have heard something about it. Godawful ESPN sports commentator Tony Kornheiser (quite possibly the worst Monday Night Football announcer since — well, ever?) made a crack about fellow ESPN personality Hannah Storm’s fashion sense on his radio. The ESPN folks heard it and didn’t like it, and dumped baldy for two weeks as punishment. But don’t worry, this is ESPN, and unless you’re shagging interns in the closet, “insensitive comments” are usually forgivable in a week or so.
