You can never go wrong with a young, blonde sideline reporter, and NBC Sports has figured this out with Carolyn Manno doing the sideline work for them during post-game segments on Sunday Night Football. I first caught her doing post-work on the Steelers-Jets game earlier today.

Get it? Because Comcast SportsNet’s Jaymee Sire is not only a very cute sideline reporter for sports, but is apparently quite the foodie? Anyways. I don’t get out to the Bay Area all that often, but if you’re a regular thereaways, you might have have caught the sparkling blonde at work for the San Francisco Giants, Oakland A’s, Golden State Warriors and San Jose Sharks. IF not? Hey, no time like the present to get caught up.Share on Facebook
Wait, so she’s a sports sideline reporter who used to be a college cheerleader and homecoming queen at LSU, and she’s a published author? Not just that, but she’s already working on her second book? Now THAT is a new one. Then again, except for a few exceptions, most sideline reporters I’ve seen on TV have been pretty quick on their feet, so I guess I shouldn’t be too surprise a sideline hottie like Louisiana’s Jennifer Hale can do all those things, and do them well. Plus, she looks really good in those jeans, too. Now that’s real talent!Share on Facebook
Apparently there are a lot of really attractive sports reporters in Boston ways, because Kristine Leahy is probably the third or fourth gal whose name someone has sent to me who regularly covers Boston sports. But she certainly fits the bill of a sports hottie, though, so I’m not complaining.
So you might have heard of Jenn Sterger, the former Florida St. Cowgirl turned New York Jets Gameday Host. When she’s not doing the football thing, Jenn Sterger is posing in her skivvies for a variety of men’s magazines. And oh yeah, there was a little something with Brett Favre. Maybe you’ve heard of it…
What is it about pretty blondes named Erin doing sports? Here’s another one: Erin Nicole, who works the hardwoods of Detroit’s Pistons basketball games and apparently also provides traffic reports to commuters. Just looking at her, it’s probably not a surprise that she’s also an ex-model and actress.
Don’t know much about local talent Amy Fadool, except Hugh, who pointed us to her told us she was recently replaced by Kristen Berset at WBFF in Baltimore, and is now rocking the joint over at Philly via Comcast’s Sports Network. I didn’t even know Comcast had their own sports network. Go figure.
Oh, the Red Sox and Yankees. Seriously, if I have to tune into ESPN and hear them hype this series to within an inch of its life one more time, I’m going to shoot myself in the head. But I digress. The good part about the rivalry series? NESN reporter Heidi Watney was there doing her thing for the New England Sports Network. No thanks to ESPN. Ahem.
Let’s face it, when you start your media career as a beauty pageant contestant, earning the title of “hottest sports anchor” in your hometown is pretty easy to do. Which may be why Kristen Berset moved from Florida to Baltimore, where she’s currently the local sports gal for WBFF in Baltimore, MD. Haven’t seen all the sports gal in Baltimore yet, but I’m just about ready to hand the crown over to Kristen.
Apparently Portland Trailblazers sideline reporter Rebecca Haarlow makes quite the impression, because I got a couple of emails pointing me in her direction. So was all the hype worth it? I have to say, hell yeah. A very hot girl with a bubbly personality. What else do you need in your basketball team’s sideline reporter? How about an Ivy League education? Yup. Rebecca’s a graduate of Princeton University. Holy crap. Brains, beauty, and sports appreciation? I think I’m in love.
