ESPN’s Jade McCarthy

ESPN Sports Reporter Jade McCarthy

It seems ESPN never runs out of blondes. Then again, maybe blondes just make better sideline reporters. (Probably not, though, but let’s go on believing that anyway, what’s the harm?) Another one of ESPN’s blondes is anchor reporter Jade McCarthy.

Here’s a quick bio of Jade McCarthy from Wikipedia:

Jade McCarthy an American sportscaster who is an ESPNews anchor and former host of NESN Daily on NESN. Prior to joining NESN, McCarthy was a sports anchor at WCAU in Philadelphia where she won numerous Sports Emmy Awards. She started her career at WGGB-TV in Springfield, Massachusetts. She then moved to WAFF, the NBC affiliate in Huntsville, Alabama. She was born in Newton, Massachusetts. McCarthy joined NESN in early 2010 and was a part-time host and reporter for SportsDesk. After SportsDesk was canceled McCarthy became the host of the network’s new show NESN Daily. Growing up, McCarthy rode horses competitively for 10 years. McCarthy left NESN in August 2011 after her husband got a job in Philadelphia. McCarthy returned to TV in September 2012, joining ESPN as an anchor for SportsCenter on ESPNews.

Jade is definitely not as hit as former ESPN blondes Erin Andrews and Michelle Beadle but she is a great addition!

It’s time ESPN added another blonde, this time, Chicago sportscaster Kerry Sayers.
