FSN’s Lindsay Soto
Reader Bradley sent me this link to Playboy, who recently ran a poll for America’s Sexiest Sportscaster, and of course, Erin Andrews won big with 40% of the votes. Coming in second was this little hot number, Fox Sports Net’s Lindsay Soto, who I had never even heard of until now. Well let’s fix that, shall we?

Lindsay Soto is a television sports journalist and producer who graduated from El Toro High School, California in 1994 and was the sports editor for her high school yearbook.
She graduated from the University of Southern California in 1998 and interned both at the USC Athletic Department and later at Fox Sports Net while attending college majoring in broadcast journalism. Her first job was at an ABC affiliate in Yakima, Washington doing weekend sports and weekday news reporting.
Soto later moved to KKFX, a Fox affiliate in Santa Barbara, California where she worked as a weekday sports anchor.
In the mid 2000s Soto worked at FSN Prime Ticket (began full-time January 2003). Assignments have included: sideline reporter for USC/UCLA football games, Los Angeles Avengers, Los Angeles Sparks; host for Southern California Sports Report, L.A. Times High School Spotlight, and USC Sports Magazine Show, among many other programs.
As of 2007 Soto covers the Los Angeles Lakers and Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim on FSN West.

I have watched her cover sports on Fox for the last few years and she’s a joy to listen to. Her voice will get your attention.

A friend of mine that works at Fox told me she was offered the job to host pro beach volleyball broadcasts but was told she would have to wear a bikini top and so she said no. The same friend told me she has amazing “assets” but goes out of her way to NOT wear things to show them off. She wants to be taken seriously. Nice to see a women in sports that wants to get ahead based on her ability not her looks.

The rack is what scores her second place to Andrews. If she got them reduced, Im guessing her rating is reduced as well. Dumb.

Why do we need sideline babes? They have WE and Lifetime – TV sports are for men. Sideline babes contribute nothing but eye candy, and some of them are not even that. [Leslie Visser comes to mind].

Yes I just noticed that about the ring, maybe on the splits it happens. You know she puts alot of time in with Fox and she is well prepared, she must drive all over the place with the HS sports gig.

I worked at the station in WA back in 1999 when she did weekend sports for about a year. It was in Kennewick, not Yakima. She was/is the best talent ever to roll through that station. Nice to see how far she’s come… I always knew she’d make it to the bigs. Congrats Lindsay! I love you.

Yes, She is very attractive but is very well educated and knows sports. Living in Southern Cal television market, I am lucky to see and hear her. She wrote a very nice e-mail reply to my daughters, who are very interested in the TV media market. Ms. Soto is very impressive when it comes to all high school sports. I have seen her on the NFL channel and she does a fantastic job. She did some spots for NBC during the Olympics, so it is interesting why one of the bigger networks have not approached her. Anyways, she is a true professional !

If anyone can find it, lindsey just did a killer in game interview 2/3 of the way thru the 2nd period of the Sharks/Ducks playoff game tonight. She was bending forward in a low cut shirt, and lets say it was obvious that 2 seconds into the live interview the director screamed in her ear to cover up because her hand when straight to her exposed cleavage. I don’t have TIVO, but if someone does….it’ll be a damn nice shot!

Yep, Nick. With 7:01 left in the second period, Mr. Soto is interviewing Niedermayer on the Ducks bench and the puppies came out to play, a nice shot. Give her credit for poise, she deftly covered up off a queue no doubt, and while it was slightly awkward, she handed it about as well as one could. A nice diversion to what’s been a great hockey game so far.

I’m not sure about that, it was pretty obvious and awkard. First she used her hand, then she tried to use the jacket and then she gave the cameraman the stink eye because you know he was checking her out. She is smokin’!

I< too, have noticed no ring on Lindsay meaning I now might have a chance
I also see her on Versus doing hockey but not on FSN – is she gone from there? If you want to know what Lindsay looks like nekkid – do a Google serach on Sara Jean Underwood. SJU was a Playboy Playmate of the Year and if you look at their faces you will swear you are looking at the same person

This is getting to be a bit more subjective, but I much prefer natural exercise than breast reduction surgery. The results and success stories speak for themselves. You can quickly see the amazement on peoples faces from happy parents or couples. Clicking on one of those pictures will reveal a space of enjoyment and happiness, heaven if you will for your regained lost beauty. You can tell all of your friends who were not listening to you, which is also enjoyable. Those concerned with privacy will be relieved to know you can prevent the public from seeing your personal listening habits if you so choose.

Ms. Soto is an outstanding sports announcer simply because she knows sports, and does her homework. She is poised, affable, and articulate, with one of the most pleasant voices ever.
She seems to have a bright future, and I wish her every success.
