Heather Cox

Heather Cox

Okay, okay, so I know I put the wrong Heather Cox here in the beginning. I knew it was the wrong person, I just never got around to fixing it, and thanks for all the emails telling me what a dope I was for getting the two similarly named persons mixed up. Anyways, here’s the correct bio for the correct Heather Cox — i.e. the ESPN reporter, not the American Idol loser. In my own defense, I’m not the only person who mixed up the two, and in fact the confusion still continues!

From Wikipedia:

Heather Cox is a sideline reporter for WNBA, college basketball and college football games on ESPN, ESPN2 and ABC. Played college volleyball at University of the Pacific. She is also a frequent guest of the 25 minute show.

Not much there. But oh well, you came here for the pictures, didn’t you? Well there’s only one good one, below, and a video.

If only she covered the NHL, but she doesn’t, but ought to one of these days, Heather Cox ought to congratulate the L.A. Kings on winning their first ever Stanley Cup. i’m sure that Cox remember the case involving now-former owner Bruce McNall back around the mid-’90s, but tonight it’s a time for the L.A. fans to forgive & forget. Were still waiting for the NFL to return to L.A. as well.

I saw Erin Andrews on the NHL Awards last night. If Heather Cox were to cover Hockey one day, she could appear on an NHL Awards Telecast.

  • Mr. X

Since Heather Cox played Volleyball at Univ. of Pacific, today marks the 40th Anniv. of Title IX.
    Happy B’day Title IX(1972-2012).

  • Thomas

Yeah when Heather Cox played for Pacific in Stockton, Ca, she used to only date and be seen with Black men. Older black men most of the time

  • Mr. X

Thomas, i bet you that Bonnie Raitt is Heather Cox’s favorite singer.

  • Big Ed

Well, ESPN had the ESPY’s last night & the NBA Champion Miami Heat won the ESPY for best team. One of these days, i’d like to see Heather Cox cover the Red Carpet festivities at a future ESPY’s.

  • Mr. X

I’m sure Heather Cox remember “Free to be, you & me”, because Rosey Grier, who turned 80 yesterday was in it in which he sang “It’s alright to cry”. Grier, of course played for the Rams.

If ESPN does not renew Heather Cox’s contract, perhaps she ought to do NBC Sports full time or maybe she ought do like Heather Cox did & move to Fox.

  • 12th Man

I meant Erin Andrews as far as Fox goes.

  • Big Ed

I’m sure that Heather Cox’s heart is going out today to those movie theatre victims in Aurora, Co.

  • 12th Man

If Heather Cox joined Fox Sports as a sideline reporter for their NFL broadcasts, perhaps NFL Films ought to get her to narrate a Seattle Seahawks highlight film in which she would be the first woman to narrate an NFL Films presentation.

  • Mr. X

Good luck to Heather Cox on her job of covering Beach Volleyball at the London Olympics.

  • 12th Man

I bet you that Heather Cox can’t wait to get back to the U.S.A once the Olympics end on Sunday.

  • Big Ed

Now that the Olympics are over, i thought Heather Cox did a good job of covering Beach Volleyball. Furthermore, like Don Meredith use to sing on “Monday Night Football”, “Turn out the lights, The party’s over.”

  • Seattle Boy

If Ms. Cox is reading this, ABC’s Seattle affiliate KOMO is announcing that longtime anchor Kathi Geortzen is dead at 54.

  • Big Ed

In case Heather Cox hasn’t heard, Horshack’s dead.

  • Mr. X

In response to Big Ed’s earlier post, Don Meredith(now deceased)sang “Turn out the lights” during MNF’s run on ABC, which was from 1970-2005. I bet you that when Heather Cox’s dying day finally comes, she ought to be buried in a Seattle Seahawks #12 jersey or maybe an Idaho Steelheads jersey.

I hope that Heather Cox caught ABC News Radio’s “Perspective” this weekend because Bonnie Raitt was profiled. If not, she can hear a podcast on the ABC News Radio website.

  • Zork

Good luck to Heather Cox on her work on tomorrow night’s Alabama/Michigan tilt in Dallas in which it will be shown on ABC. Yes, she is married(sorry guys)& she is from California. I hope she packed a tuxedo outfit so if she gets the chance, she might wear it in a DFW area dance hall.

Heather Cox even has kids, Aly(6) & Will(4).
