New England Sports Reporter Heidi Watney
Wow, check out blonde hottie Heidi Watney, a former model turned sports reporter. (Hey, isn’t that where we should all find our sports reporter?) She’s currently doing the sideline duties for New England Sports Network, which covers — duh — New England sports. Here’s her bio from NESN:
Heidi Watney is NESN’s Boston Red Sox Reporter. She joins Don Orsillo and Jerry Remy on the network’s baseball coverage providing live in-game updates. Heidi also serves as the reporter for NESN pre-game and post-game show. Joining host Tom Caron and NESN’s rotating cast of studio analysts, Heidi reports on key news and stories from the ballpark and conducts interviews with players, coaches and management.
Watney comes to NESN from Fresno, California where she has served as a weekend sports anchor and reporter for KMPH Fox-26 News and a sports talk radio show host for 1430 ESPN Radio KFIG. The University of San Diego graduate began her career as a sports reporter/assistant producer for KUSI News in San Diego, California.

I so love and miss this BSBB (Beautiful Sexy Blonde Baby). In my eyes she beats out all the other dolls in sports.

Ed, I think competing in the Miss California pagent qualifies her as being a model. From the Boston Globe: “The former Miss California contestant (she was the third runner-up in 2003) said competing in pageants was just a small facet of her life.” Well, it qualifies her as far as I’m concerned.

We saw a lot of Heidi back when she did the sports on our local news in Fresno, Ca. She has been great to look at, but she sucked as a sportscaster. Had to turn the sound off.

Heidi is not only very beautiful, she is an intelligent, excellent, professional reporter. I would like to see more of her during the Red Sox broadcasts.

heidi is one of those women that starts talking on the tv and you just look at her like duuuuuuuuuuh and not even listen to what she’s saying. she’s so damn beautiful. I wouldnt say super sexy hot but very easy on the eyes

You guys can belittle her all you want, but she’s a great gal. I knew her briefly when she was in Fresno, and she’s as nice and friendly and genuine as she is attractive, and that’s off the charts. Only two women have left me speechless in my life; Stevie Nicks in 1978 and Heidi Watney in 2007. She’s a great gal, knows sports, and will go far. I’m not saying she doesn’t use her looks to further herself, because she does, much in the way any of us would do. Looks will get you IN the door but it will not keep you there, and she’s good at what she does. ESPN or Fox or CBS is going to steal her soon, you watch and see (no pun intended.) I have nothing but respect for her, speechless though I was when she stood in front of me and looked me dead in the eyes. Yowza… Totally intimidating. Best of luck to you, Heidi… knock ‘em dead!
