You know, until Erin Andrews does what we’ve all been waiting for her to do — that is, take off that blouse and slip on a two-piece bikini — then Carrie Milbank has to rank right up there as the hottest sports-related reporter in the media today. How can you go wrong with a former NFL cheerleader turned TV sports/business host? I mean, sports AND business host? Hot damn!
Carrie Milbank’s bio from her site:
California–born Texas–bred Carrie Milbank kicked off her career, literally, by entertaining football fans as a Houston Texans Cheerleader. As a captain of the NFL´s youngest franchise for four years Carrie represented her squad at the NFL Pro Bowl in Hawaii and was voted the team´s MVP two years in a row.
She was discovered by NFL Films in 2003 when she auditioned as a Guest Host on NFL Under The Helmet (FOX), revealing her Number One passion as an on–camera entertainer. She quickly became a Correspondent for NFL Under The Helmet as well as a Co–Host for the NFL Cayman Challenge (NFL Network).
In 2004, Carrie hung up her boots and pom-poms to pursue a full–time career in television. She was hired as the Producer, Writer, & Host for Houston-based lifestyle program Hot On! Houston (KPRC–TV, NBC), and in less than a year was promoted to Hot On! D.C. to kickoff the newly expanded show in the Washington Metro area (WUSA–TV, CBS). Carrie also took on the National Host Trainer role, created specifically for her, training incoming Hosts as the production expanded across the country. When it came to Hosting Hot On!, Carrie literally wrote the book on it.
Carrie returned to her “rah–rah” roots in 2006, this time as a commentator for the NFL Cheerleader Playoffs (IMG – NFL Network). It was during this production that she caught wind of an exciting new advancement in the world of sports and entertainment – Sprint Powerview, the first made–for–mobile international television network.
Carrie packed her bags, moved to the Big Apple, and became the first Entertainment News Anchor and Gossip Co-Host for Sprint Powerview. She covered red carpet events coast to coast, from Super Bowl XLI in Miami to Pirates Of The Caribbean: At World’s End in L.A. Carrie also filled in as a Sports Anchor/Reporter, covering the 2006 U.S. Open with Jim Courier where she interviewed Roger Federer shortly after his 3-peat win.
You can catch Carrie on the tube this summer as she Co-Hosts the Accenture Escape From Alcatraz Triathlon for the second year in a row in San Francisco (IMG – Syndicated). She’s also been commissioned by Fandango to interview Smart People’s Sarah Jessica Parker, Dennis Quaid, and Thomas Haden Church.
Carrie is currently the Host of TennisWeek.com, “The Hockey Show” on NHL.com, and People.com’s “Who Looked Hot This Week.”
You can also catch her dishing the latest car news on FastLaneDaily.com, and as a guest contributor on FOX Business Network’s “America’s Nightly Scoreboard.”
Carrie loves going to the movies, dancing, and traveling the world with her husband Blake. They currently reside in the New York area.
